President Barack Obama |

President Barack Obama speaks later this afternoon on the UW Madison campus and the crowds will not disappoint if the bird's eye view we have here from our campus building are an indication. People lined up several abreast all down the street hours before the gates opened. It's actually quite a small space for such a big event. Secret Service and police had their work cut out for them as they secured the location, but I guess they're used to it. President Obama's visit to the University is the first of a sitting president since 1950, when Harry Truman spoke on the UW campus.
Tune in to Here & Now this Friday, 10/1, for our coverage.
