Wisconsin Public Television invited the candidates in the gubernatorial recall election to sit down with reporters Frederica Freyberg and Zac Schultz for an in-depth interview. During "A Conversation with Mayor Tom Barrett: A Wisconsin Vote Special", the Democratic candidate for governor answers questions about how he would solve some of the serious issues facing Wisconsin. Republican incumbent Governor Scott Walker declined the invitation to participate in this Wisconsin Vote Special.
