This program hosted by Patty Loew, host of WPT’s In Wisconsin and Dan Small, host of MPTV's Outdoor Wisconsin showcases the states four contributions to the national parks system. They include the Ice Age National Scenic Trail, the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and the North Country National Scenic Trail. Come with us as we explore the unique features at each of Wisconsin’s national park sites and introduce you to people who are passionate about these natural wonders. National Parks: Wisconsin, was co-produced by Milwaukee Public Television and Wisconsin Public Television.

Some videotaping for National Parks: Wisconsin was done on the former John Muir homestead property in Marquette County. Today it is classified as a National Historic Landmark. However, this portion of the property is private and not open to the public.

Apostle Islands National Lakeshore
